A step-by-step guide to building a team, changing positions, using challenges, saving a lineup, and playing the football modes.
Choose a generation, the wider pool, or a challenge. Start small if you want to learn the field before managing more options.
Place a quarterback, running back, line, linebacker, and safety first. These choices make the remaining gaps easier to see.
Check receivers, cornerbacks, ends, and the return role. Speed and coverage are easy to overlook when the center looks strong.
Tap a filled slot when you want to replace a player. Drag players when you want to swap two positions. Change the formation when a role feels impossible to fill, and use scouting to compare candidates before committing. A saved lineup gives you a stable starting point for the next experiment.
Save your lineup after the final change, use the share action to copy a lineup link, or take the roster into the Play hub. A shared lineup is most useful when you include the pool and formation so another player understands the choices behind it.
