What does “All 22” mean?

In football, an All-22 view shows all 22 players on the field at once. Our Pokémon version turns that idea into a team-building game: every slot has a job, and the best roster is the one that fits the whole formation rather than only collecting the strongest Pokémon.

Build a roster that works together

The builder is more interesting when each pick solves a problem. Put a reliable player in the middle of the formation, protect the edge with speed, and use the scouting view to find a second option when the obvious choice is already committed. A balanced team gives you more ways to recover from a difficult challenge roll.

Start with the spine

Choose quarterback, running back, the interior line, linebacker, and safety before filling every specialist. Those positions connect the most plays and make the rest of the lineup easier to judge.

Cover the weak side

A roster can have several exciting attackers and still feel incomplete. Check speed on the outside, durability in the middle, and coverage in the secondary before spending your final picks.

Test, then revise

Save a lineup, switch a formation, and compare the result. The goal is to learn which change improves the whole field instead of chasing one impressive Pokémon.

A simple first session

  1. Open the builder and choose the generation or full pool you want to explore.
  2. Fill the core positions, then use the position view to inspect open roles and candidate stats.
  3. Try the 17–0 or 151 Challenge when you want a more constrained draft.
  4. Save the finished lineup and take it to BOWL or PRO from the game hub.

Common questions

Do I need to know football to start?

No. The position labels and wiki explain the basic job of each spot. Start with the default formation and change one role at a time.

Is the strongest Pokémon always the best pick?

No. Fit depends on the position, the rest of your roster, and the formation you selected. A fast player may fix a coverage problem while a bulky player may protect the middle.

Can I keep more than one idea?

Yes. Save or share a lineup, then return to the builder and try another pool or formation.
